Heute, Sonntag 21. April, läuft um 18.05 auf dem Deutschlandradio Kultur Swingin‘ Swanee:

„Stay up Stan, the all night record man“ – Swing Songs über Disc Jockeys der 1930er und 1940er Jahre und Kostproben ihres Wirkens. Der erste DJ Star wurde Martin Block Mitte der 30er Jahre in New York, der mit legendären Moderationen ganze Konzertabende im Radio nachstellte.
